INkom2

INkom2 is IN2 product aimed to support billing process and other related business processes for public utility companies (electricity, water or gas consumption). It is designed to provide metering infrastructure definition and maintenance, meter data collection and management, billing engine and customer overview.

INkom2 is fully integrated with Oracle e-Business Suite (EBS) system, to support standard business processes (purchasing and inventory management, asset management, finance and accounting, controlling, investments). INkom2 has the same system administration features as Oracle EBS: user definition, responsibilities, menus, multilingual support, multi organizational units, concurrent processing (submitting and executing reports and other procedures and processes). All INkom2 forms, procedures and reports have been made according to Oracle EBS standards; user interfaces have the same Oracle EBS "look and feel".

The way the INkom2 is integrated with EBS provides a unique and comprehensive view of the customer within the business enterprise system. We can rightly say that the Oracle EBS and INkom2 make fully integrated system that combines the power of global ERP solution and support to processes that are specific to the public utility companies.

In order to enable full support of public utility company business processes related to customer management module Lawsuits tracking has been developed and integrated within INkom2 solution. This module provides debtor lists (based on various filtering criteria) and creates proposals for further legal procedures. It also supports communication with lawyer's office or company's' legal department.
Utility assets management is based on EBS modules for Inventory, Project costing and Fixed assets to support full life cycle of growing number of meter devices from order to inventory, installation at customer premises, maintenance, calibration, reparation (or retirement) and replacement. This way, we can efficiently track status, location and assignment of every meter device and fully support company's utility asset monitoring and decrease possible embezzlement by customers or employees.
